An International Collaborative Research Article titled ‘Novel chalcone and flavone derivatives as selective and dual inhibitors of the transport proteins ABCB1 and ABCG2’ authored by Silbermann K.; Shah Chetan P.; Sahu Niteshkumar U.; Juvale Kapil; Sven Marcel Stefan; Kharkar Prashant S.; Wiese M. has been published in European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, 2019, 164, 193-213.

      This is the outcome of one-year research work contributed by our School and Prof. Michael Wiese, Pharmaceutical Institute, Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn, Bonn, Germany.  The outcome of the research work is unique in providing a new, highly potent reverser of ABCG2-mediated MDR and in parallel dual ABCC1/ABCG2 inhibitor and also highly potent dual ABCB1/ABCG2 MDR reverser, which both are good starting points for further investigations.
