We are the youngest nation and, the young population is highly innovative, ready to take-up challenges and productive, if allowed to follow their interest and necessary resources made available. Government of India has taken various initiatives to nurture the innovation and entrepreneurial abilities of the budding entrepreneurs and innovators. Innovative Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC), Shirpur realized the need of entrepreneurship and innovation and started nurturing the budding entrepreneurs. At beginning of the current academic session IEDC Shirpur decided to intensify the efforts in nurturing the budding entrepreneurs and provide them a platform to realize their entrepreneurial dream. As a result of which IEDC Shirpur of Mukesh Patel Technology Park is now approved incubation center of Ministry of MSME (Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises), Govt. of India.
The Ministry of MSME will provide the financial support of ₹ 1,00,00,000 to develop the infrastructure required for incubation as well as, MSME will financially support the innovative startups addressing the most pressing societal issues upto ₹ 15 Lakhs/Startup. It is the unique opportunity to the innovators in and around Dhule district to incubate their startups at IEDC, Shirpur and become the job creator instead of job seeker. Our aim to support the startups addressing the issues of common people in Healthcare, Transport, Education, Agriculture etc., with the help of modern technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Sensor and Data Technologies. Innovation and entrepreneurship is the only tools which will help us to fight the declining jobs and push the economy to the new heights to achieve the goals which are otherwise beyond the vision. We appeal all the innovators to use this opportunity to realize their dream of entrepreneurship.
