NMIMS students receive patent for path-breaking customer care resolution system

• The system to revolutionise customer service experience

• Will help businesses gain optimum client satisfaction and loyalty.

• The fully automated system will be launched early next year

Indore, December 21, 2022: A talented team of students at NMIMS School of Technology Management and Engineering (STME) Indore, have successfully received a patent for developing the first fully-powered artificial intelligence system to aid and enhance customer experience.

The unique and cost-efficient AI and the machine learning-enabled customer care application is invented by MBA (Technology) students Gursimranjeet Singh Ajimal, and Akrati Nagariya, under the mentorship of Dr. Aaquil Bunglowala, Associate Dean, STME, NMIMS Indore and Mr. Gaurav Paliwal, Associate Professor at STME, NMIMS Indore.

The system, which will be launched in early 2023 under their startup venture named Vocbot.AI Technology Pvt. Ltd., will revolutionise the customer care sector by reducing long waiting times, addressing issues of language disparities, and providing unique user-based solutions that will help businesses gain optimum client satisfaction and loyalty.

The patent titled “A voice-based, multilingual, inbound/outbound system and a method based on artificial intelligence for aiding and automating customer service” was granted by the Patent Office, Government of India, in the field of ‘computer science’.

Speaking about the achievement, students at STME NMIMS Indore Gursimranjeet Singh Ajimal and Akrati Nagariya said, “High-quality customer service is the cornerstone of a successful business as well as one of its major challenges.  Mindful of this, we created this system to help businesses provide customers with fast and personalised resolutions, a cost-effective price. This feat could not have been achieved without the unflinching support and expertise of our mentors as well as the world-class infrastructural, and technological provisions at the institute”.
