SVKM’s NMIMS (Deemed-to-be University) Mumbai School of Business Management (SBM) held its Inauguration Programme for its MBA, MBA (Human Resources), and MBA (Pharmaceutical Management) for the incoming batch of 2024-2026 on June 3 2024, followed by the orientation program till June 12 2024.
Mr. Sameer Kamath, esteemed SBM Alumnus and Executive Director and Group CFO at Avendus Capital graced the inaugural event as the Chief Guest.
The inauguration day also saw the gracious presence of Dr. Ramesh Bhat, Vice Chancellor, NMIMS, Dr. Justin Paul, Dean, SBM and Provost Management Education, Dr. Chandrima Sikdar, Associate Dean (Programs and Student Learning Experience) and Dr. Veena Vohra, Associate Dean (Accreditation, Ranking, Industry and Alumni) and Dr. Mayank Joshipura, Associate Dean (Research) and Program Chairperson, PH.D program.

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) was established in Mumbai in the year 1981 by a leading public charitable education trust, Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM). NMIMS was established with the initial intent to offer management programs at the Diploma and Masters’ (graduate) level.
Since its commencement in 1981, NMIMS has been offering Mumbai University (University of Bombay) programs like Masters in Management Studies, Diploma in Management Studies, Masters’ Program in Marketing Management, Human Resources Management and Finance Management.
