The placement season at NMIMS Bengaluru has been highly successful, with last year seeing over 210 corporate recruiters visiting the campus, including pre-placement offers from many reputed companies. Five teams from the MBA programme secured the top 15 ranks globally in the Business Simulation – Capstone Course, showcasing the students’ exceptional performance.
Meanwhile, the foundation programme concluded with a city tour event, “Bangalore Darshan,” which allowed students to explore the cultural, historical, and business aspects of Bengaluru.
Reminiscing her years at her alma mater and sharing her career journey with students, Ms. Shivangi Choudhary, Sr Manager of Data Science and AI – products & solutions at Landmark Group said, “It was here 11 years ago when I wanted to do something in analytics and NMIMS Bengaluru was the only institution offering it. Analytics was a new field then and it was a risk but it has been worth it. I want to leave you with three insights: feel happiness in the now; build a vision for the future and manage your energy rather than your time. I want to quote Steve Jobs who said, always follow your heart intuition because somewhere you know what you want to do. So, ten years down the line, when you will have more stories to tell, just ensure that they are yours and made up of your choices. Take risks and have no regrets whatsoever of your decisions.”
Dr. Mallika Srivastava, Program Chairperson, SBM, NMIMS Bengaluru, said, “At NMIMS Bengaluru, we believe in nurturing adaptable professionals through rigorous academia and holistic learning experiences. Our students are the driving force behind our success, continually setting higher standards and achieving excellence. As we embark on this journey together, I encourage each student to embrace challenges, seize opportunities, and make the most of their time at NMIMS Bengaluru. Together, let’s build a future where innovation, resilience and ethical leadership thrive.”
