Indore, June 10, 2024 – SVKM’s NMIMS (Deemed-to-be University) Indore School of Business Management (SBM) conducted a Foundation Programme for its MBA batch of 2024-2026 from June 3 to June 11, 2024.
The programme began with a warm welcome from Dr. Ramesh Bhat, Vice Chancellor, NMIMS, and Dr. Anshuman Jaswal, Director, NMIMS Indore, along with other esteemed faculty members.
Dr. Ramesh Bhat set the tone for the event with an empowering speech, challenging the new batch to define their mission as future managers. He emphasised value creation, integrity and the dynamic role of technology and teamwork, encouraging students to harness Knowledge, Attitude, Skill and Habit (KASH) for success. “At NMIMS SBM, we are dedicated to fulfilling your learning aspirations and shaping you into the best value creators and impactful leaders of tomorrow. Dr. Anshuman Jaswal then gave an address to welcome the batch of 2024-26, introducing them to NMIMS Indore SBM, the faculty and the administrative staff.

The programme also incorporated POSH awareness, mindfulness training and an introduction to the student council, concluding with an overview of library resources, academic administration and student portals. To complement the academic orientation, an Indore city tour was conducted on June 15, 2024.

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) was established in Mumbai in the year 1981 by a leading public charitable education trust, Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM). NMIMS was established with the initial intent to offer management programs at the Diploma and Masters’ (graduate) level.
