The courtroom may have been simulated, but the competition was very real when students from SVKM’s NMIMS Hyderabad delivered an outstanding performance at the Vidhwata Law Fest – Mock Trial Competition hosted by Dr B. R. Ambedkar Law College. Representing SVKM’s NMIMS Hyderabad, the team comprised Anmol Sinha as Speaker 1, Thakur Roshni as Speaker 2, and Radhika Sengar who led the research efforts. Together, they demonstrated sharp analytical thinking, structured arguments and precise case presentation. Their preparation was evident in every stage of the competition, from evidence handling to courtroom etiquette.
The Mock Trial Competition tested participants on real-world legal scenarios, prompting them to build arguments, cross-examine witnesses and interpret complex legal principles under timed conditions.
