SVKM’s NMIMS Faculty Members Win Best Paper Award at International Conference on Sustainable Development

SVKM’s NMIMS is proud to announce that Prof. Aaron Abhilash Yegudala and Prof. Aakash Satyadeo, Assistant Professors at the Kirit P. Mehta School of Law (KPMSOL), NMIMS Hyderabad, have been conferred the Best Paper Award at an international academic conference focused on sustainable development and ethical governance.

Award-Winning Research on Ethics and Labour Practices

The award-winning research paper, titled “Deploy, Direct, Dispose: The Ethical Faultlines of Downsizing and Labour Practices in the Contemporary Economy,” critically examines ethical challenges surrounding downsizing and labour practices in today’s economic landscape, with strong relevance to global discussions on fairness, sustainability, and human dignity.

International Academic Recognition

The paper was presented at the International Conference on Sustainable Development to Protect the Environment, the Climate and Human Living Conditions in the Light of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), held from 29 September to 2 October 2025.

The conference brought together global scholars and experts and was jointly organised by:
