SVKM’s NMIMS Kirit P. Mehta School of Law Concludes NAVRANG’26 with Record Participation and Star-Studded Finale

SVKM’s NMIMS Kirit P. Mehta School of Law successfully hosted NAVRANG’26, its flagship inter-collegiate cultural and sports festival, from February 4 to 7, 2026, witnessing an overall footfall of nearly 10,000 students from colleges across Mumbai. Held offline across multiple venues, the four-day festival reinforced its position as one of the most vibrant student-led platforms promoting creativity, teamwork, and competitive excellence.

Four Days of High-Energy Sports and Cultural Engagement

The fest opened with an energetic inauguration at Player’s Turf, Malad, followed by a series of competitive sporting events including cricket, football, basketball, pickleball, and traditional team games. Running parallel across the NMIMS campus were cultural competitions spanning music, dance, filmmaking, art, and personality showcases, enabling students to demonstrate diverse talents. The strong participation and enthusiastic audience response set a dynamic tone for the festival.

As NAVRANG’26 progressed, the second and third days sustained the momentum through an engaging mix of sports, e-sports, and creative activities. Popular gaming tournaments such as BGMI, CODM, FIFA, and Valorant attracted significant student interest, reflecting the growing prominence of digital competitions alongside physical sports. Cultural highlights ranged from theatre performances and advertising challenges to open-mic sessions and fashion-themed events, encouraging innovation, expression, and collaboration.

A Grand Finale with Pro Nite as the Highlight

The festival concluded on a high note with its much-anticipated Pro Nite, which emerged as the defining moment of NAVRANG’26. Renowned music composer and singer Amaal Mallik delivered a high-energy live performance that captivated the massive audience and transformed the venue into an electrifying celebration of music and youth culture. The evening was further elevated by the presence of well-known entertainment personalities including Shirley Setia, Vicky Jain, and Farhana Bhat, along with senior institutional leaders and faculty members.

Promoting Leadership, Collaboration, and Community Spirit

Organised under the guidance of Faculty Convenor Ms. Shweta Soman, the festival reflected strong student leadership, seamless coordination, and collaborative planning. By bringing together participants from multiple institutions, NAVRANG’26 successfully fostered inter-collegiate engagement, encouraged healthy competition, and provided a meaningful platform for networking and creative exchange.

Reinforcing a Legacy of Student Excellence

With its large-scale participation, diverse programming, and impactful finale, NAVRANG’26 once again demonstrated NMIMS School of Law’s commitment to holistic student development beyond academics. The festival not only celebrated talent across sports and culture but also strengthened community connections and created memorable experiences for participants and attendees alike.

Building on this success, NAVRANG continues to stand as a flagship initiative that reflects the vibrancy, leadership, and collaborative spirit of the NMIMS student community.
