SVKM’s NMIMS University Faculty Member Ms. Shraddha Pandit Wins Dual Honours at Indo-Thai International Conference 2026

Strengthening its global academic presence, SVKM’s NMIMS University continues to make its mark on international platforms through the achievements of its faculty members. Ms. Shraddha Pandit, Assistant Professor at Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, brought laurels to the University by winning two prestigious international awards at the Bangkok Conference and Indo-Thai Awards 2026 held on 15–16 February 2026 at the Ambassador Hotel Bangkok, Thailand.

Advancing Global Academic Engagement

The conference was jointly organised by the Global Research Conference Forum, International Council of Jurists, Phranakhon Rajabhat University, Rajapark Institute, and the International Journalists and Media Network Association.

With the theme “Global Business and Emerging Challenges in Management, Humanities, Law, Science & Technology 2026,” the conference witnessed participation from delegates across SAARC and ASEAN regions. It provided a global platform for knowledge exchange, collaborative dialogue, and academia-industry engagement — reflecting NMIMS’ commitment to fostering international exposure and thought leadership.

Faculty Excellence Recognised Globally

At the conference, Ms. Pandit presented her research paper titled “Balancing the Scales of Gender Justice: A Comparative Analysis of Workplace Rights in India and Thailand.” Her outstanding academic contribution earned her two prestigious recognitions:

  • Indo-Thai Professional Excellence Award in the Outstanding Legal Education Category
  • Best Paper Award for her research presentation

These honours highlight NMIMS’ strong academic ecosystem that encourages research excellence, global scholarship, and impactful legal education.

Strengthening International Academic Collaboration

Further reinforcing NMIMS’ global engagement, Ms. Pandit was invited to deliver a guest lecture at Phranakhon Rajabhat University on 17 February 2026. She delivered an insightful session on “Good Governance in India and Thailand,” fostering cross-cultural academic exchange and strengthening institutional ties between India and Thailand.
