SVKM’s NMIMS Indore Successfully Hosts Two-Day Summit on Sustainability, Digital Transformation and E-Governance.

A two-day high-level “Summit on Sustainability, Digital Transformation, and E-Governance” was successfully concluded at the NMIMS Indore Campus on 13th and 14th March 2026. The landmark event was organized under the prestigious aegis of the Mirae Asset Foundation – SVKM’s NMIMS ESG Research Chair to facilitate dialogue on the intersections of technological innovation, public policy, and global sustainability.

Inaugural and Valedictory Sessions Led by Eminent Experts

The inaugural session was graced by keynote speakers Dr. Pritee Sharma, Professor & Head Core Member, Mehta Family School of Sustainability, IIT Indore, and Prof. (Dr.) Kanhaiya Ahuja, Director, School of Economics, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore, who shared insights setting the tone for the summit. The valedictory session featured Dr. Sandeep Chaudhary, Professor (HAG), IIT Indore, and Mr. Pranav Sinha, Director, ESGPace Indore, who delivered the closing keynote addresses.

Focus on Emerging Themes Through Technical Sessions

Over the course of two days, five technical sessions addressed key issues such as AI surveillance, cybersecurity, fintech ecosystems, and ESG frameworks. The summit saw nearly 50 research paper presentations by around 80 scholars from across the country. Two “Best Paper Presentation” awards were presented in each of the five technical tracks to recognize academic excellence.

Strong Academic Participation and Institutional Support

Dr. Anshuman Jaswal, Director, NMIMS Indore Campus, along with Dr. Sachin Bhardwaj, Dr. Rajeev Srivastava, Dr. Vikas Khare, and CMA Dr. Niranjan Shastri, were also present at the event. The summit concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the support of the institution’s leadership and the Mirae Asset Foundation in enabling a meaningful academic exchange.
