NMIMS Kirit P. Mehta School of Law organised a warm and memorable Farewell Ceremony for the Batch of 2026 at the Mukesh Patel Auditorium. The event brought together students, faculty members and council representatives to celebrate the graduating cohort’s journey, accomplishments and contributions to the institution.
Organised by the Student Council, the ceremony witnessed participation from students across all programmes—FY, SY, TY, 4Y, 5Y and LLM—amounting to nearly 350 attendees. The event was conducted under the guidance of faculty mentors Mr. Akshat Chaturvedi and Mr. Sushil Jain.
The evening opened with a Saraswati Vandana, setting a traditional and reflective tone. This was followed by a line-up of cultural performances, including dance, musical pieces and dramatics by students from different years. Performances by LLM students and individual acts added vibrancy to the event, showcasing the strong creative spirit within the School of Law.
A key highlight of the ceremony was the awards segment, where students from the graduating batch were recognised for their unique personalities, achievements and contributions to campus life. The segment celebrated the diversity and talent that shaped the identity of the Batch of 2026.
An emotional moment of the evening was the farewell montage, featuring photographs, milestones and heartfelt messages from the graduating students. The montage captured their journey from their first days on campus to their final year, creating a sense of nostalgia among the audience.
Student Council President Somya Bajaj addressed the gathering with a reflective message, acknowledging the batch’s growth, resilience and the collective experiences that shaped their time at NMIMS. Her address resonated strongly with both students and faculty.
The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Council Vice Presidents Sehaj and Aryanjai, who expressed gratitude to the faculty, organisers and volunteers whose efforts ensured a meaningful and memorable farewell.
The Farewell Ceremony for the Batch of 2026 served as a fitting tribute to the graduating students, celebrating their achievements while wishing them success as they embark on new professional and academic journeys.
