Bridging classroom learning with industry practices, students of the School of Pharmacy & Technology Management (SPTM), SVKM’s NMIMS Indore, visited IPCA Laboratories Limited and Kusum Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. in Pithampur to gain first-hand exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and industry practices.
The industrial visits provided students with an opportunity to observe the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and understand how concepts studied in the classroom translate into industry operations. The interactions and exposure offered insights into the processes, practices and operational aspects of the pharmaceutical sector.
Such industry visits form an important part of experiential learning, allowing students to connect academic knowledge with practical applications and gain a better understanding of the professional environment they may enter after graduation.
