Hyderabad: Students of the School of Law at NMIMS Hyderabad have brought laurels to the institution by securing the Second Runner-Up position at the R. Thandapani Memorial All India Moot Court Competition, organised by Sir Isaac Newton College, Nagapattinam, on 11 October 2026.
The winning team comprised Santoshiya Ruth L., Burugu Sphoorthi and Sudhaamshu Kanth Dosala, second-year students of the BA LL.B. (Hons.) programme. Their achievement reflects their commitment to legal learning and their participation in competitive academic platforms.
Moot court competitions provide law students with opportunities to develop their legal research, analytical reasoning, argumentation and advocacy skills. The team’s performance marks a proud moment for NMIMS Hyderabad and its School of Law.
