SVKM\u2019s NMIMS organised\u00a0the 11<\/strong>th<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0book talk on\u00a0\u201cArt of Winning\u201d The Chanakya Way\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>with Author\u202fDr. Radhakrishnan Pillai,\u202f<\/strong><\/em>Founder and Director of Chanakya International Institute of Leadership Studies (CIILS), University of Mumbai\u00a0on\u00a013th<\/sup>\u00a0December\u00a02021.<\/h5>\n
Dr. Radhakrishnan\u00a0is a renowned award-winning author and this is his 20th<\/sup>\u00a0book. He comes from an illustrious family of academicians with 35 teachers in his family!<\/h5>\n
In his interaction\u00a0Dr. Radhakrishnan Pillai\u00a0highlighted the importance of having a good publisher. This book has a simple writing style which can be understood by all age groups. He quoted Einstein \u201cIf you can\u2019t explain simply, you don\u2019t understand it well enough\u201d.<\/h5>\n
He talked about the importance of bridging the gap between popular writing and academic research\u00a0and his belief\u00a0in simplifying management.<\/h5>\n
Dr. Radhakrishnan\u00a0<\/strong>gave the insights into the books\u00a0and the chapters\u00a0which covers\u00a0various strategies on playing to win, ideas to execute, analyzing one\u2019s loses, budgeting, focus on winning and other\u00a0principles.<\/h5>\n
During the interactive\u00a0Q&A-\u00a0session\u00a0Dr.\u00a0Radhakrishnan Pillai talked about\u00a0Chanakya\u2019s\u00a0principles of\u00a0Saam,\u00a0Dhaam,\u00a0Dhand,\u00a0Bhed\u00a0and how it is important to apply these\u00a0principles in most righteous way. On a question about the fear of the unknown he highlighted the importance of mentorship, and how one should learn from the experts in their fields.<\/h5>\n
He elaborated on the relevance of Chanakya in today\u2019s modern world, \u201cWhat has not changed is the human mind and the eternal principle\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0Dr. Radhakrishnan also stressed that if a model is successful continue doing it when asked about his continuing theme around Chanakya in his books.<\/h5>\n
