Mumbai, 2025 – SVKM’s NMIMS Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce (NMIMS ASMSOC) celebrated its Annual Convocation 2025 at the Shri Mukesh Patel Auditorium, Vile Parle (W), Mumbai, honouring the achievements of its graduating students. Mr. Sandeep Bagla, Chief Executive Officer of TRUST Mutual Fund, attended the event as the Chief Guest, with the proceedings compered by Dr. Rimi Moitra. Students appeared in white kurta and churidar with sash, reflecting the ceremonial spirit of the day.
The convocation began with the assembly of the academic procession, accompanied by band music, followed by the lighting of the lamp and the NMIMS anthem. The Nominee of the Hon’ble Chancellor formally declared the convocation open, and felicitated Mr. Bagla with a bouquet and memento. The Nominee of the Vice Chancellor addressed the gathering, highlighting the school’s academic progress, achievements, and milestones over the 2024–25 academic year.
Degrees were conferred upon the Dean’s List students across BBA, B.Com. (Hons.), B.Sc. Finance, and M.Sc. Finance programs. Graduates took the oath of professionalism, followed by the sustainability pledge administered by the Dean. The Register of Graduates was formally submitted to the Nominee of the Hon’ble Chancellor for signature, and awards were officially declared.
Dr. Minu Mehta, Dean, Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce, NMIMS, Mumbai, expressed, “Watching our students grow into confident young professionals is the most rewarding part of being an educator. In his convocation address, Mr. Bagla encouraged students to embrace leadership, innovation, and social responsibility, inspiring them to excel as industry-ready professionals in the global business landscape. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Registrar, the formal closure by the Nominee of the Hon’ble Chancellor, the National Anthem, and the receding of the academic procession. The day concluded with a celebratory lunch at the Mukesh Patel Auditorium.
