NMIMS MPSTME Mechanical Engineering Students Shine at ASME IMECE 2025

SVKM’s NMIMS Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management & Engineering (MPSTME) continues to make its mark in national-level technical competitions. Three students from the Mechanical Engineering Department — Mr. Sambhav Jain, Mr. Shaun Palyekar, and Mr. Arshan Joshi (Semester III) — represented NMIMS at the prestigious Brain Bolt Competition during ASME IMECE 2025, held in Hyderabad on September 10, 2025.

Excellence in Innovation and Problem Solving

The competition brought together some of the brightest engineering minds from across the country. Participants tackled challenging, industry-driven problem statements designed to test their technical acumen and innovative thinking. The NMIMS team successfully cleared Round 1 and advanced to the Final Round, where they showcased impressive analytical, conceptual, and teamwork skills.

Their performance reflected both their classroom learning and their ability to apply engineering principles in real-world scenarios. The event offered valuable exposure to contemporary challenges faced by the mechanical engineering industry and provided a platform for students to demonstrate creativity, precision, and critical thinking.

A Proud Moment for NMIMS

This accomplishment adds another milestone to the achievements of the Mechanical Engineering Department at NMIMS MPSTME. It underscores the university’s commitment to nurturing young engineers who are not only academically strong but also capable of competing and excelling at national platforms.

By encouraging active participation in competitions like ASME IMECE, NMIMS continues to bridge academic learning with practical experience, empowering students to push boundaries and innovate for the future.
