SVKM’s NMIMS MPSTME strengthened its national academic presence as a faculty member took centre stage at the National AICTE–ATAL Faculty Development Programme 2025 held at Thakur Global Business School. The session brought fresh perspectives on Academic 5.0 and highlighted how Human–AI collaboration is reshaping the future of higher education. Faculty from engineering and management institutes across India attended the workshop, making it one of the more impactful academic exchanges this season.

Advancing Academic 5.0 and Human–AI Collaboration

The session introduced participants to emerging approaches in Academic 5.0. It highlighted the rapid integration of AI tools in classrooms, laboratories and research environments. The speaker demonstrated how AI can support personalised learning, improve assessment methods and enhance academic productivity. The workshop also emphasised the need for educators to stay adaptive as higher education evolves through technology-led change.

Participants explored practical demonstrations of AI-based academic tools. These demonstrations helped them understand how digital systems can simplify research processes, support data-driven work and build efficiency in academic workloads. The session encouraged faculty members to adopt a collaborative approach where human judgement and AI capabilities work together to strengthen teaching outcomes.
