Human-Centred Design for Inclusive Learning
Braille Beads is a thoughtfully designed product aimed at enhancing the learnability of Braille for children, making early tactile learning more intuitive and engaging. The concept was originally developed during the second-year Interaction Design module at NMIMS SOD, reflecting the school’s strong focus on human-centred design and social impact.
Academic Mentorship Driving Innovation
The university acknowledges the invaluable mentorship of Prof. Manisha Phadke, whose guidance played a pivotal role in shaping the project. This achievement underscores NMIMS SOD’s commitment to nurturing creativity through close faculty mentorship and experiential learning.
A Proud Milestone for the NMIMS Community
SVKM’s NMIMS congratulates Aayush Bhogle and Pranay Saksena on this outstanding international achievement. The university also recognises the continued support of the NMIMS Management and the NMIMS School of Design Mentor, and expresses sincere appreciation to Dr. Arundhati Thakurta, Dean, along with the faculty and staff, for fostering an ecosystem that champions innovation, inclusivity, and excellence in design education.
