Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, SVKM’s NMIMS, came alive with colour, creativity and student energy as Navrang Fiesta, a vibrant cultural and recreational event, was held on January 27, 2026. Hosted at Mithibai College of Arts, Chauhan Institute of Science and Amrutben Jivanlal College of Commerce and Economics, the day-long celebration offered students a refreshing space beyond academics to connect, unwind and explore their creative interests.
Faculty Co-Convenor Mr. Tushar Krishnamani, whose guidance and support contributed significantly to the smooth conduct of the Fiesta.
A Marketplace of Creativity and Student Enterprise
The venue was transformed into a lively and colourful marketplace, with a wide range of stalls set up by various companies and members of the Navrang Organising Committee. These stalls showcased an eclectic mix of products including clothes, scented candles, polymer clay jewellery, crochet flowers, handmade accessories, flowers, stickers and other creative merchandise.
Alongside shopping, several experiential and interactive stalls were introduced, sparking curiosity and encouraging students to explore new forms of art and entrepreneurship.
Fun, Games and Shared Experiences
Beyond the marketplace, Navrang Fiesta offered multiple interactive and entertainment-driven activities that kept enthusiasm high throughout the day. Dedicated zones for face painting, polaroid photography and a photo booth allowed students to capture memorable moments with friends.
Games and activities such as guess the object through songs, ping pong ball challenges, and sports including cricket and volleyball encouraged spirited participation and healthy competition. Students from different batches actively engaged across stalls, games and activity zones, creating a lively, inclusive and energetic atmosphere.
Strengthening Community Beyond Classrooms
Navrang Fiesta had left students with a sense of joy, connection and shared experience. The initiative successfully strengthened community bonding within the law school, blending entrepreneurial exposure, recreation and creative engagement into one memorable celebration.
Overall, Navrang Fiesta stood out as a well-executed initiative that truly captured the spirit of student life — energetic, expressive and community-driven.
