Shirpur, May 2026: SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Shirpur Campus successfully organised a five-day Summer Camp from 4th to 8th May 2026 for students of Classes 9 to 11, offering an enriching experience that combined academic exposure, technical learning, sports, wellness, creativity, and personality development. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and was designed to provide experiential learning opportunities through interactive sessions, workshops, outdoor activities, and team-building exercises.
The Summer Camp commenced with registration, orientation, and introductory sessions that familiarised participants with the camp objectives and schedule. Students attended a wellness-focused “Art of Living” session, which emphasised mindfulness, stress management, and mental well-being. The first day also featured music and singing workshops, yoga and meditation sessions, along with outdoor sports activities including cricket, football, basketball, and swimming.

Sessions included 3D Printing, Tablet Manufacturing, AR/VR Laboratory Experience, Hands-on Herbs and Microscopy, and an interactive session on Innovation, Incubation Centre (IIC), Start-ups, and IoT. These activities provided students with practical exposure to emerging technologies, healthcare sciences, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The camp also focused on developing interpersonal and leadership skills through team-building exercises and career guidance sessions. Experts and faculty members guided students on academic pathways, industry expectations, leadership qualities, communication skills, and future career opportunities.
One of the key highlights of the Summer Camp was the experiential visit conducted on Day 4, where students visited institutions and facilities including MRP CBSE School, Military School (Shirpur Pattern), Textile Park, Nageshwar, and the Academy of Aviation. The visit offered valuable exposure to different educational systems, industrial practices, and aviation training environments.
The final day of the camp featured cultural performances where students showcased their talents in music, dance, and other performing arts. The valedictory session included participant felicitation, feedback collection, and an overview of the camp’s overall impact and achievements.
