SVKM’s NMIMS Chandigarh Strengthens Global Engagement with Millennium Campus Network

SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Chandigarh continues to reinforce its commitment towards global learning, leadership development, and sustainable impact by encouraging active student participation in initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).

Students from NMIMS Chandigarh have already been associated with globally recognised programmes such as the Millennium Fellowship, contributing meaningfully to social impact, civic engagement, and community-driven initiatives. These engagements reflect the institution’s focus on fostering responsible leadership and global citizenship among students.

Further advancing this vision, NMIMS Chandigarh hosted Ms. Simran Kaur, University Relations Manager, Millennium Campus Network, for a strategic interaction aimed at strengthening institutional collaboration and expanding avenues for student and faculty engagement.

Prof. Dr. Jyotsna Singh, Campus Director, NMIMS Chandigarh, along with Dr. Tanmeet Kaur Sahiwal, Program Chairperson, School of Law, engaged in discussions with Ms. Simran Kaur on potential collaboration areas. These included student leadership development, civic learning initiatives, sustainability-driven programmes, and enhanced global academic exposure.

The interaction underscores NMIMS Chandigarh’s continued focus on creating meaningful platforms for students to engage with global frameworks and drive social impact through structured learning and collaborative opportunities.

Such initiatives reaffirm NMIMS Chandigarh’s commitment to nurturing socially responsible leaders who are equipped to contribute effectively towards global change and sustainable development.
