Mumbai, July 2026: SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Shobhaben Pratapbhai Patel School of Pharmacy & Technology Management (SPPSPTM), welcomed its incoming Batch of 2026 through Udaan – Orientation Programme 2026, marking the beginning of an exciting academic journey for students enrolled in the B.Pharm, B.Pharm + MBA, and M.Pharm + MBA programmes.
The orientation programme was designed to help students transition seamlessly into university life by introducing them to the School’s academic framework, industry-oriented curriculum, research ecosystem, student support services, and vibrant campus culture. The programme also provided parents with an opportunity to engage with the institution, reflecting NMIMS’ commitment to fostering a collaborative partnership in every student’s academic journey.
The inaugural session featured an inspiring address by Ms. Meenakshi Nevatia, Country President & Managing Director, Pfizer India Ltd., who shared valuable insights on the evolving healthcare and pharmaceutical landscape, encouraging students to embrace innovation, continuous learning, and professional excellence.
Throughout the programme, students interacted with the School’s leadership and faculty members while gaining an understanding of the curriculum, placements, research opportunities, student clubs, co-curricular activities, and experiential learning initiatives that define the SPPSPTM experience. Dedicated sessions also familiarised students with academic expectations, campus facilities, and the numerous opportunities available for personal and professional growth.
