Indore, September 2026: Students of the School of Law, SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Indore, secured the Runners-Up position at the Surana & Surana Judex 4.0 Human Rights Moot Court Competition 2026, competing against leading law institutions from across India.

The NMIMS team comprised Krishna Singh, Anushka Parihar and Mann Jain, fourth-year students of the School of Law. Their performance at the national-level competition demonstrated strong legal research, advocacy and courtroom skills, along with effective teamwork and strategic argumentation.

Adding to the team’s achievement, Anushka Parihar was recognised as the Best Student Advocate, while Mann Jain was awarded Third Best Student Advocate for their individual performances during the competition.

The competition provided students with an opportunity to engage with complex legal issues relating to human rights, while developing practical skills in legal research, case analysis, oral advocacy and presenting arguments before a moot court bench.

The achievement reflects the School of Law, NMIMS Indore’s emphasis on experiential legal education, enabling students to apply their academic learning in competitive and practice-oriented settings.
