SVKM’s NMIMS Indore Pharmacy Students Secure Second Runner-Up at IIPICON 2026

Indore, September 2026: Students of the School of Pharmacy & Technology Management (SPTM), SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Indore, secured the Second Runner-Up position in the E-Poster Presentation category at IIPICON-2026, an international conference bringing together participants and researchers from the pharmaceutical and healthcare domains.

The achievement was secured by Atharva Ajmera, Samikshya Panigrahy, Aarya Pareek and Vansh Budhlani, first-year students of SPTM. The students presented their research poster titled “AI-Enabled Global Drug Development: From Molecule to Market,” exploring the role of artificial intelligence in transforming the drug development process.

The students’ presentation examined the potential of AI-enabled approaches across different stages of drug development, highlighting the growing role of technology and data-driven methods in advancing pharmaceutical research and development.

The achievement was part of a strong representation by SPTM at IIPICON-2026, with 13 students presenting five research posters at the two-day international conference. Their participation provided students with an opportunity to present their academic work before a wider audience and engage with contemporary developments in pharmaceutical sciences.

The recognition highlights the growing emphasis on research, innovation and interdisciplinary learning within pharmaceutical education, while giving students an opportunity to apply their academic knowledge to emerging challenges and technologies in the sector.

The achievement was celebrated by the faculty and the NMIMS Indore community, with the students and their mentors being congratulated for their efforts and contribution to the conference.
