Navi Mumbai: The NMIMS Sports Committee at NMIMS Navi Mumbai organised SPORTSPHERE 2026 on 12 and 13 October 2026, bringing students together for two days of sporting competition, teamwork and campus engagement.
The event featured a diverse range of competitions, including Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis Singles and Doubles, Box Cricket, and eSports competitions featuring BGMI and Real Cricket. The activities provided students with opportunities to showcase their skills, engage in healthy competition and participate in sporting activities beyond their academic schedules.
A key highlight of SPORTSPHERE 2026 was the mixed-school Box Cricket tournament, which brought together students from schools such as the School of Business Management (SBM), School of Law (SOL) and School of Engineering (SOE). Teams comprising six players, including five boys and at least one girl, encouraged participation across schools and promoted inclusivity through sport.
SPORTSPHERE 2026 aimed to foster sportsmanship, strengthen teamwork and encourage interaction among students from different academic disciplines. The event reflected the NMIMS Sports Committee’s continued efforts to promote an active sporting culture on campus.
The successful conduct of the event was supported by the collective efforts of the organising committee and participating students, highlighting the role of student-led initiatives in creating an engaging and collaborative campus environment.
