In a significant step towards strengthening career opportunities for music students, NMIMS School of Performing Arts successfully facilitated a placement opportunity session with Artium Academy Pvt. Ltd., one of India’s leading online music learning platforms.
The initiative reflects NMIMS’ commitment to bridging the gap between academic excellence and industry opportunities, particularly in specialized creative fields such as music, where structured campus placement opportunities remain limited across universities.
The placement engagement offered students the opportunity to explore rewarding careers in music education and performance through flexible online teaching roles. Students were introduced to career pathways that allow them to leverage their artistic expertise while gaining valuable industry experience.
The compensation packages offered through the opportunity include:
- Western Music: ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month
- Indian Music: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month
The flexible online work model enables students to balance professional commitments with higher education, performances, and other creative pursuits, making it an attractive career option for emerging musicians.
As the music and creative industries continue to evolve, NMIMS remains committed to expanding industry engagement and building pathways that support students in achieving successful and fulfilling careers.
