Mumbai, September 7, 2026: The School of Business Management (SBM) at SVKM’s NMIMS University has earned a place among the world’s leading business schools in the Financial Times Masters in Management (MiM) Ranking 2026, reinforcing its continued standing among globally recognised institutions for management education.

In the 2026 ranking, NMIMS SBM has been ranked 73rd globally and 10th among Indian institutes featured in the ranking, marking a significant improvement in its global standing. The School has moved up 21 places from 94th in the FT Masters in Management Ranking 2024 to 73rd in 2026.

The latest ranking highlights NMIMS SBM’s performance across key indicators of management education and graduate outcomes, particularly career progression, salary growth, employment outcomes and diversity. The 2026 ranking reflects the career progression and professional outcomes of NMIMS SBM’s 2023 alumni, providing an important measure of the School’s impact on graduates’ career journeys.

Among the key highlights, NMIMS SBM has been ranked 29th globally for Career Progress, placing it among the strongest-performing institutions globally on this parameter. The School has recorded a 47.70% increase in alumni salaries, with its weighted salary standing at US$127,988. The ranking also records 100% employment within three months of graduation, based on data covering 92% of the latest graduating class.

The School has also demonstrated strong performance on diversity indicators. Women constitute 58% of the faculty, the highest among the Indian institutes featured in the 2026 ranking, while female students account for 38% of the cohort and women constitute 29% of the School’s board.

The ranking further reflects the School’s academic strength and student experience, with 91% of faculty holding doctoral qualifications and an overall student satisfaction score of 8.65 out of 10. NMIMS SBM has also been ranked 62nd globally for ESG and Net-Zero Teaching and 73rd globally for Carbon Footprint, reflecting its focus on sustainability and responsible management education.
