Indore, September 2026: Students of SVKM’s NMIMS Indore, School of Law have brought laurels to the institution by winning the 1st Lexonic National Moot Court Competition 2026.
The winning team comprised Mishti Agrawal, Shreya Mishra and Saloni Pandiyar, students of the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme. The achievement reflects their strong legal research, reasoning, advocacy and courtroom skills demonstrated throughout the competition.
The competition provided participants with an opportunity to engage with complex legal issues and apply their understanding of law through structured courtroom proceedings. The NMIMS Indore team successfully progressed through the Preliminary Rounds, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Grand Finale, competing against teams from across the country.
Through each stage of the competition, the students demonstrated their ability to analyse legal issues, develop persuasive arguments and present their submissions before the judges. Their performance also highlighted the importance of collaboration and teamwork in preparing and presenting a compelling legal case.
The achievement marks a significant milestone for the students and reflects the emphasis placed by NMIMS Indore, School of Law on experiential learning and developing practical legal skills alongside academic knowledge.
The institution acknowledges the valuable guidance provided by Prof. Rajneesh Dubey and Prof. Arjit Pandey, whose mentorship supported the students throughout their competition journey.
