SVKM’s NMIMS Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering (MPSTME), Shirpur Campus, commenced its First-Year Induction Program 2026–27 with a grand inaugural ceremony on 11 July 2026. The seven-day induction program, scheduled from 11 July to 17 July 2026, aims to familiarise newly admitted students with the academic environment, institutional values, and campus life.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Hon. Shri Rajgopal Bhandari, Member, Managing Committee, SVKM, President, Shirpur Education Society and Mentor, NMIMS Shirpur Campus; Dr. Sunita Patil, Director, Mukesh Patel Technology Park; Dr. Venkatadri M, Associate Dean, MPSTME; and Dr. Bipin Jadhav, Head, Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Venkatadri M, Associate Dean, inspired the students to pursue academic excellence with discipline, innovation, and strong ethical values. He highlighted the institute’s commitment to nurturing competent professionals equipped with technical knowledge, leadership qualities, and a spirit of lifelong learning.
Dr. Sunita Patil, Director, Mukesh Patel Technology Park, warmly welcomed the students and their parents, encouraging them to make the most of the academic, research, innovation, and co-curricular opportunities available at NMIMS Shirpur.
Chief Guest Shri Rajgopal Bhandari delivered an inspiring address, motivating students to uphold integrity, perseverance, and social responsibility while striving for excellence in their academic and professional journeys.
Following the inaugural session, Dr. Bipin Jadhav, Head, Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities, briefed students on the academic system and curriculum.
In the afternoon, a Parent–Teacher Interaction Session was conducted, during which parents interacted with the Associate Dean, Heads of Departments, Placement Executive, and Counsellor. Their queries regarding academics, mentoring, student welfare, hostel facilities, placements, safety, and campus life were addressed. Simultaneously, first-year students attended session on various Student Clubs and Forums, introducing them to the vibrant co-curricular opportunities available on campus. Following the interaction session, parents visited SVKM’s Tapanbhai Mukeshbhai Patel Memorial Hospital & Research Center (TMPMH) to explore its state-of-the-art healthcare infrastructure and facilities. The sessions were well appreciated by both parents and students.
The Induction Program marked a vibrant beginning to the academic year 2026–27, setting a positive tone for an enriching and holistic educational experience at NMIMS Shirpur Campus—an institution shaped by the visionary leadership of Shri Amrishbhai Patel, President of SVKM and Chancellor of SVKM’s NMIMS Deemed-to-be University.
