Mumbai, July 2026: SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management & Engineering (MPSTME), welcomed its incoming B.Tech, MBA Tech and Diploma Engineering students through Orientation Programme 2026, marking the beginning of a new academic year and an exciting journey into engineering education.
The orientation programme was designed to help students transition seamlessly into university life by introducing them to MPSTME’s academic ecosystem, experiential learning approach, industry-oriented curriculum, institutional values, and vibrant campus culture. The sessions provided students with an overview of the academic framework, research opportunities, innovation initiatives, student clubs, support systems, and the diverse learning experiences that await them during their time at NMIMS.
The B.Tech and MBA Tech Orientation Programme brought together newly admitted students, faculty members, and academic leadership to familiarise students with the institution’s emphasis on academic excellence, innovation, multidisciplinary learning, and industry engagement. Students also interacted with faculty and peers, gaining valuable insights into campus life and the opportunities available beyond the classroom.
The School also welcomed its new Diploma Engineering batch through a dedicated orientation programme, introducing students to the academic environment, curriculum, campus facilities, and co-curricular opportunities. The programme aimed to build confidence among students as they embark on their engineering journey while encouraging them to actively participate in academic, technical, and extracurricular initiatives.
Throughout the orientation, students were introduced to MPSTME’s focus on innovation, research, entrepreneurship, industry collaboration, and holistic development. Interactive sessions enabled them to better understand the academic expectations, institutional processes, and the resources available to support their personal and professional growth.
