NMIMS Forges Partnership with Australia’s Prestigious Monash University: Enhances its Mission to Globalize Education

Mumbai, September 2023: SVKM’s NMIMS, one of India’s leading educational institutions, has signed an MoU with Australia’s prestigious Monash University. The collaboration between the two universities is a step ahead in NMIMS’ dedication to globalizing education and offering students a broader worldview. The partnership will benefit students studying in the BBA, B.Com. Hons, B.Sc. Economics, and B.Sc. Finance programs with a unique 1.5+1.5 feature give the students a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study in India and Australia for one and a half years each.

This program is unique for being compact and allowing students to make a smooth transition from their semesters at NMIMS to those in Monash University, ensuring they graduate on the same schedule as if they had continued at NMIMS. Another salient feature of this collaboration is that students interested in pursuing a Master’s degree at Monash can complete it in one year, considering they have already spent 1.5 years there. As a result, in four years, the students can earn both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from two acclaimed Universities.

With an array of subject options available and the flexibility that the Australian education system offers, students have the freedom to do their Master’s in a field of their choice, regardless of their previous specialization. The program at Monash also allows students to pursue off-campus internships in domains of their choice. Moreover, by investing time in completing the Master’s program , students get the opportunity to explore job opportunities in Australia, providing them with a multicultural work experience that is certain to enrich their perspective.
