SVKM’s NMIMS Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management & Engineering (MPSTME) recently hosted the GDG Build and Grow Hackathon, a dynamic platform for innovation, collaboration, and learning. The event brought together some of the brightest young minds to explore the emerging field of Agentic AI—an evolution of artificial intelligence focused on creating proactive, self-directed agents that think, adapt, and assist users in complex tasks.
Exploring the Future of AI
The hackathon challenged participants to go beyond traditional automation and design solutions that could independently reason and act. Students from diverse technical backgrounds collaborated to transform ideas into functional prototypes, applying cutting-edge AI concepts to solve real-world problems. The atmosphere was electric with creativity, teamwork, and a shared passion for innovation.
Among the many creative ideas presented, one notable project was Nourish AI, a personalized meal-planning assistant powered by intelligent agents to simplify healthy eating. The range of innovations reflected the participants’ ability to apply Agentic AI to diverse, real-world challenges.
Inspiring the Next Generation of Innovators
The GDG Build and Grow Hackathon provided a powerful learning platform for students to explore full-stack development, AI implementation, and design thinking. It encouraged them to step out of their comfort zones, collaborate under pressure, and translate knowledge into meaningful applications.
Events like these reinforce SVKM’s NMIMS MPSTME’s commitment to nurturing future-ready technologists—students who are not only skilled in advanced technologies but also driven to use them for human-centered innovation and impact.
